Submitter uses advanced "Hot Folder"
technology to enable the user to drop raw Video and Audio files along with
a metadata file into a folder and have them immediately converted
into a fully authored DVD title.
The Authoring attributes applied to
these files such as the type of DVD (with or without a menu, straight play, looped
etc..) the menu theme (if using a menu), chaptering method (if
chaptering), disclabel background and casewrap (if selected) are all pre-set in
Submitter for the selected "Hot Folder".
When Submitter
is running it continually monitors the contents of a "Hot Folder" for
new Video and Audio files. Once Submitter finds files in the folder, it
checks the status of those files to ensure that they are not being held open by
any other process (such as copying from one location to another etc..) then
Submitter creates a "polling" file that contains job parameters that
are pre-set and applied to the "Hot Folder" and passes it to
RocketDVD Professional for processing.
You can have multiple
occurances of Submitter running each one pointed to a unique "Hot
Folder" and with unique authoring attributes assigned. The Submitter
program is used in conjuction with RocketDVD Professional and the DVD-On-Demand feature.
