All players are individually controlled and monitored by the DVD-DSYN, each player having it’s operational status confirmed on power-up to allow between 2 and the maximum number of players (i.e. 6 for a DVD-DSYN6) to be supported.
Once the DVD-DSYN has determined that a player is connected, a PLAY track 1 command is issued followed by a PAUSE command. The DVD-DSYN then waits for all active players to become ready and issues a global PLAY track 1. Each player then continues to play
